ECDA PROGRAM

MasTec Professional Services has provided External Corrosion Direct Assessment services for more than 30 years on transmission, elevated pressure and distribution pipelines. Our scope includes comprehensive CIS, DCVG, ACVG and current attenuation surveys, supported by sub-meter GPS data collected along the pipeline, at environmental features, appurtenances, and at identified anomalies.

Survey results are analyzed to pinpoint potential pipeline integrity concerns and prioritize findings in alignment with the operator’s integrity management plan. MPS also identifies excavation locations to confirm indications and support remediation efforts. All data is delivered in both graphical and electronic formats to support engineering review and long-term asset integrity planning.
